Cologne (Köln)

Cologne (Köln), on the banks of mighty Rhine river, was together with neighbouring Bonn the political and spiritual hub of erstwhile West Germany, before reunification. It is house to Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), the second biggest and tallest church in Germany.

The other side of Rhein.............RTL Studio at Kennedy Ufer in Cologne, Germany. I used to see its program Guten Morgen Deutschland almost daily. (Now ARD Morgenmagazin, also shot in the same area)

Hohenzollern Briücke Köln

Hohenzollern Bridge on river Rhein in Cologne Germany at dusk in drizzle with overcast sky. The bridge has six railway tracks and footpath on both sides. On railing padlocks have been put for love wishes. It is next to Cologne Central Railway Station and famous Cologne Cathedral. Shot on 20.01.2018 with Sony XA1 phone 24mp Camera at f2 and ISO 800.

Kölner Dom

The most visited place in Germany. Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral) on early heavily overcast evening (on 20.01.2018) under light rain. Too tight for my 48mm equivalent Zeiss lens, I had to rely on my 22mm Sony Mobile camera. And could not risk to wet my camera.
