Singapore or Singh Pura, the abode of Lion, as it means in Sanskrit, is a small, safe, disciplined, modern and surprisingly beautiful island city country. European in outlook, it is still very Asiatic and is a confluence of tradition rich, English, Chinese, Malays and Indian cultures. I visited Singapore in 1994 and again in 2017. While my 1994 pictures shot with an Agfa 35mm manual camera on Konika Film could not withstand the rigours of time, my last visit was shot on Sony a6000 with Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 lens, backed up with Sony E 55-210mm OSS Zoom, which is being displayed here.
