If Tomorrow Never Comes

Armageddon, may never happen. But most of us live our lives in such a manner as if it will happen the very next day. Worrying all the time as if the world is going to come to an end. Worried about happiness, pleasures, finances, relations and at some times even without any reason whatsoever. Some get worried about getting a job, and some about leaving a job. Worries have no end. They will come along till the time the person getting worried wants them.

What is the solution? What will one do if one comes to know that today is the last day of the universe? Worry more and cry like hell? Well most of the people in the world will do that. They do it anyway, without any such eventuality anywhere in sight.

What, if for a moment, we forget our tomorrow? We will be left is today only, as yesterday also cannot be reached today. It is gone forever, having taken away all its worries and happiness together alike. Then what will one do today? Live it happily, or worry for whatever time is left today. Unless one has to get struck in Delhi traffic after a rainfall, one will really have no reason to worry.

Every day is important in itself. It can only be lived and felt only when it really comes. There is no point worrying about it in advance. And there is no point worrying about a future day or days, when we are not sure, what will happen then.

So we have only today to live for. And the only way is to live it happily. Enjoy each moment as much as we can, without worrying unnecessarily what will come tomorrow. What comes tomorrow will be dealt with tomorrow itself. Today is meant for today, as if tomorrow never comes. Live a life every day, as it comes. It has more moments of happiness than we actually take it or think of. Leave worries for tomorrow. And when tomorrow comes, it will become today again. Live it again then, like today, all in happiness.

Disruptors ………now we have in plenty

We in India need to change our thinking process and be positive and rise above ever-growing personal interests and likings, and think like a solider. A soldier doesn’t think about his life or his or his family’s interests or survival, when he stands guard for us. He thinks of the country and makes supreme sacrifice when needed, so that we can live safely. Why can’t and why shouldn’t others think like that and rather contribute whatever little they or we can towards country’s well-being, and not to fall prey to hearsays, feelings and demands which disrupt the hard development decisions and steps towards ultimate development of country and well being of all.

  1. Hi Rahul,Nice to see you back after the six month sabbatical. Golden words and thougts. It seems the drive to Noida on that rainy afternoon had really played havoc with your psyche. At times I do feel a bit confused!!!!! On one hand we keep talking of living life every day…. not worry about tomorrow….. who has seen the future…… never had the moment to enjoy etc etc and on the other hand we talk of dreaming, planning, remaining focussed for tomorrow etc etc ….So I suppose the mantra is to "" plan for the future happily and without worry"" and "" not to go to extremes, do not ruin your today for tomorrow and vice versa!!!!"" Good to read your articles on the morning of Gandhi Jayanti,Cheers hv funRK Singh

  2. Dear Sir,Nice to see your post after such a long time.. We all seem to be in the process of finding some key to life and its ordeals but truly I am yet to find someone who has mastered it.Might be it is something like that the projector is more important than what is being projected on the screen and what we are all doing most of the times is trying to dive too deep into the onscreen contents !!!
